Ortho-Bionomy® is a very gentle form of bodywork. It was invented by an osteopath, named Dr. Arthur L. Pauls, in the 1970’s. Currently, it is taught and recognized worldwide and is also used by other health practitioners including naturopathic and osteopathic physicians.

The main goal in Ortho-Bionomy® is to help the client release tension held in the body by using slow movements, comfortable positions and gentle compression to the body. The practitioner works with the client’s body instead of on it. Ortho-bionomy® is used to release chronic muscular tension and trauma associated with injuries.
